Workont! is a web-based business account for freelancers, startups and SMEs, with a German IBAN, debit cards and SEPA payments in a single dashboard. GrowishPay designed and built the platform on Treezor for Promega Service GmbH.

Who is WorkOnt?
Workont! is a product of Promega Service GmbH, based in Düsseldorf. It gives companies a business account with a dedicated German IBAN, physical and virtual Mastercard debit cards and SEPA and SEPA Instant transfers. The team behind it comes from traditional finance and wants to keep a direct relationship with clients while running everything online. Promega operates as an agent of Treezor, the regulated e-money institution that provides the payment services. The first market is Germany, with Italy, Spain, France and Belgium planned next.
What did WorkOnt need?
Opening a business account at a traditional bank means paperwork, branch visits and weeks of waiting. Promega wanted the opposite: a company should apply online with only the essential documents, get its IBAN and start operating from one screen. Behind that simple front end sit a lot of moving parts. KYB and KYC checks for the company and its owners, strong customer authentication on every sensitive operation as required by PSD2, cards with spending limits for each employee, account fees tied to the plan each customer signs up for, and a back office where Promega’s team can follow every applicant from lead to active client. The interface had to work in Italian, German and English from day one.
What did GrowishPay deliver?
GrowishPay delivered the whole stack: the customer and admin dashboard, the backend connected to Treezor, a self-service onboarding wizard and the CRM integration. Account fees run on PricingCore, our pricing engine, in production for Workont!.

How Workont! works
Apply online
The company enters its data and uploads the requested documents in a guided wizard. An assisted path lets a Workont! operator complete the application by phone.
Account goes live
Once the KYB and KYC checks are done, the account is activated with a German IBAN accepted across the SEPA area.
Cards for the team
The admin issues physical and virtual cards to employees and teams, with monthly limits and settings for online, ATM and contactless payments.
Pay with SCA
Payments go out as SEPA or SEPA Instant transfers, confirmed with strong authentication. Incoming payments show up as soon as they land.
Ready for the accountant
Statements, receipts and payment confirmations are always available for download.
In our technical solution, we used:
Treezor: the French e-money institution of the Société Générale group that provides accounts, IBANs, SEPA payments and Mastercard card issuing through its Banking-as-a-Service APIs.
GrowishPay OrchestrationCore Suite: our modular platform for Treezor-based solutions. OrchestrationCore orchestrates transactions and flows, PricingCore manages plans, fees and business rules, SentinelCore monitors transactions in real time, GrowthCore runs referral and incentive programmes, ComplianceCore keeps the audit trail and compliance reports, and AICore lets teams ask their data in plain language. On Workont! the account fees run on PricingCore.
React: an open-source JavaScript library maintained by Meta, used for the customer dashboard and the onboarding wizard.
HubSpot: the CRM where Promega’s team follows each applicant from first contact to active client, with account data synced from the platform.
Amazon Web Services: the cloud infrastructure that hosts the platform in containers, with separate development and production environments.
